Membership benefits
If you enjoy harness racing, why not join the progressive Devonport Harness Racing Club.
Our creative committee has come up with a new way to reward our members for their support. Each race night, we will choose one race and allocate each horse in that race to a financial member, at random.
If you are the lucky member who has drawn the winning horse for that race, you will win a prize, but you must be present on course to claim your prize. To see if you have drawn a horse, purchase the race book and look for the Member Incentive Draw.
In addition to this new draw, DHRC will also be running the old ones: the Sulky Member Draw and the carton of beer in the Thorate Bar at the end of each race night, courtesy of Mick the Veggie Man and DHRC.

Public facilities include enclosed grandstand with restaurant, bar, tote, plus grassed trackside viewing areas.
Devonport Harness Racing Club AGM and Awards Night 2009
This annual event took place on Friday, 11th September, in the Cheers Function Centre at Devonport Showgrounds and was well attended. The formal business of the AGM was quickly dealt with, followed by an enjoyable meal. After dinner, Tasmanian Racing Board representatives Kevin Neilson and Trevor Lees addressed the gathering, followed by the presentation of Club awards for the 2008/2009 season.

These presentations were followed by the drawing of the Mick's Fruit and Veggie Membership Incentive - for the great prize of a race sulky. The connections of horses which won during the season were eligible for this draw and the lucky winner was Tim Mayne.
