North West Tasmanian Light Harness Association Inc
The North West Tasmanian Light Harness Association represents the interests of trainers, drivers and owners. The committee meets to discuss correspondence and issues affecting its members and communicate these to Racing Services Tasmania, HRT, Tote Tasmania and other industry stake holders. The association also uses its place on the Harness Advisory Group to represent the interests of its members.
The other major function of the association is conducting trials at Devonport; funds raised at these trials through trial fees and canteen sales are returned to the industry via sponsorship of races at Burnie Harness Racing Club (pictured) and Devonport Harness Racing Club.
Membership fees
$10 per person, due at the commencement of each racing season.
